This Green Apple Detox Smoothie is a delicious recipe and a great source of vitamins, phytonutrients, minerals and fiber!

One of the ingredients that I love to add to my smoothies, is spinach – a cruciferous vegetable rich in vitamin A, vitamin C, vitamin K1, folic acid, fiber, iron and calcium plus potassium, magnesium, and vitamins B6, B9, and E.

It also contains sulforaphane, an important compound with detoxification properties.

If you don’t have fresh organic veggies on hand, or you simply want to give yourself a heaping boost of beneficial nutrients, consider adding a scoop of Exceed Greens + Reds Organic Grain-Free Superfood powder.

Recipe is gluten-free, dairy-free and paleo friendly.
