According to the Environmental Working Group (ewg.org), there are 12 “dirty dozen” vegetables and fruits that are known to be the highest in pesticides. If you are going to purchase organic, be sure to review their list and always purchase organic when buying one of these 12 items.

This Store Fruit Salad recipe includes two of the eight fruits on the EWG’s list. I always recommend organic, whenever possible.

Summer is a perfect time to visit your local farmer’s market and find delicious, ripe seasonal fruit and make this beautiful fruit salad.

I love this salad because its simple, beautiful and delicious.
