Whether it’s “Pumpkin Spice” season or not, you can always enjoy this protein-rich, naturally-sweet treat as a snack or even a dessert. If you use canned pumpkin, make sure it’s organic, and do limit your use of canned goods in general due to BPA and other types of plastic linings.


  • 1 cup pitted dates
  • ¼ cup pureed pumpkin
  • ¼ cup almonds
  • ¼ cup pecans
  • ½ cup nut butter of your choice


Blend all ingredients in a food processor. With clean hands form small balls and store in the refrigerator.
