Toxins 101: Simple Steps to Combat Toxicity

A common concern that I have for many of my patients is making sure that they’re reducing and preventing inflammation. Detoxifying your body is one way to achieve that, and I enjoyed talking with Lora Beezy on her podcast about not only inflammation but some of the other consequences of toxicity exposure as well.

Our bodies are constantly bombarded with toxins – in our environment, in the food we eat, the products we use on our body and the water we drink. When toxins build up in our systems it can cause inflammation, weight gain, and illness. Lora brings in Dr. Ann Shippy to identify some simple steps we can do to improve overall wellness and identify easy changes in our diets and indoor home and office environments to prevent toxicity.
