Feeling bloated, tired, foggy, or stuck in a cycle of recurring infections?
It could be candida overgrowth.
Candida is a natural yeast that’s normally kept in check by a healthy immune system and beneficial bacteria. But in today’s world, this balance is often disrupted, allowing candida to overgrow and trigger a range of health issues.
Here are some signs that you may have candida overgrowth:
👉 Gas, bloating, heartburn
👉 Food sensitivities
👉 Chronic infections (sinus, UTI, yeast)
👉 Fatigue, brain fog, mood swings
👉 Hormonal symptoms and skin rashes
👉 Causes of candida overgrowth include:
👉 Antibiotics
👉 High-sugar, high-carb diets
👉 Mold exposure
👉 Chronic stress
👉 Birth control pills, steroids
👉 Environmental toxins (mold, heavy metals)
👉 Leaky gut
To best way to know if you have candida overgrowth is to do a stool test like the GI MAP. And work with a healthcare professional who can guide you through healing.
Diet is a crucial part of candida treatment, but eliminating sugar, which directly feeds yeast, is only the beginning.
You’ll also need to avoid alcohol, refined carbohydrates, and sometimes even natural sugars and high-starch foods until Candida is back in balance. These foods can all fuel yeast overgrowth and interfere with healing.
In some cases, antifungal medications may be necessary, especially when overgrowth is severe or resistant. However, many people can successfully control candida with a comprehensive approach that includes a targeted diet, lifestyle changes, and the right supplements.
Swipe through the slides above for a list of key supplements that support candida healing!
You can often find combinations of these ingredients in formulas, like the Every Life Well®️Candida Complete (shop link in bio).
A quick word about die-off: As candida dies, toxins can cause temporary symptoms like fatigue, rashes, headaches, or brain fog. Another reason it’s important to work with your healthcare provider- to support you through these challenges and to ease the healing process.

Flu season isn’t letting up in Texas—or across the country.
What can you do to stay healthy? First, it’s important to understand that your immune system is a complex and dynamic defense system that jumps into action at the first sign of exposure to an outside invader.
But for it to function properly, it requires key nutrients in good supply.
While a nutrient-dense diet is essential, most diets lack the vitamins and minerals needed to reach optimal levels.
Bottom line: Supporting your immune system with high-quality supplements helps fill the gaps and strengthen your body’s defenses.
👆See the slides for my top 10 immune-support supplements.
Beyond supplements, here are a few tips to help you stay healthy all year long:
✅ Check your vitamin D levels. Vitamin D is critical for immune function, but during the winter months, most of us aren’t getting enough sun exposure to maintain optimal levels. If you haven’t checked yours recently, I encourage you to do so!
✅ Fuel your body with whole, nutrient-dense foods to support immune function.
✅ Eliminate inflammatory foods like sugar, alcohol, and processed foods, which weaken defenses.
✅ Get outside daily for natural light exposure, even on cloudy days.
✅ Prioritize sleep—7-8 hours a night is essential for immune repair.
✅ Manage stress with meditation and deep breathing—chronic stress weakens immunity.
✅ Move your body! Exercise stimulates immune circulation and detox pathways.
✅ Try detox baths or infrared sauna to aid recovery—I love Cleanse + Restore, available in my shop!
✅ Limit toxin exposure—be mindful of your food, water, and personal care products. (Grab my free toxin-free living guide—link in bio!)
✅ Stay hydrated! Your immune system relies on proper hydration to function efficiently.
Your immune system works for you daily—give it the support it needs to keep you strong and resilient - all year long. Shop all supplements link in bio.

Healthy aging doesn’t just depend on eating well and exercising.
Daily exposure to toxins can damage your cells, influencing how your body and brain age.
We often think that decline with age is inevitable. However, how we age is deeply influenced by our environment, including daily exposure to toxins.
Even low-level, chronic exposure to chemicals in our food, air, water, personal care, and home products can quietly disrupt the biological processes that keep us healthy and resilient.
Here’s how toxins accelerate aging at the cellular level:
➡️ They increase oxidative stress, damaging DNA and accelerating cellular wear
➡️ They impair mitochondrial function, draining your energy and vitality
➡️ They fuel chronic inflammation, the root of many age-related diseases
➡️ They disrupt hormone signaling, affecting detox, metabolism, and longevity
Over time, this hidden toxic burden can impact your brain, skin, energy, joints, and more, making you feel older than you are.
When you reduce your toxic exposures and support your detox pathways, your body responds.👏
Your cells begin to repair. Inflammation calms. Energy returns.💪
Healthy aging becomes possible because you’re removing what stands in the way of your body’s natural resilience.
Small changes truly make a big difference.

This study was published in the American Journal of Preventive Medicine, and the findings make it clear: removing ultra-processed foods from your diet should be one of your top priorities for your health and wellbeing❗️
The researchers analyzed dietary and mortality data from 8 countries, including the U.S., U.K., and Brazil, and found that:
➡️ Every 10% increase in Ultra-processed food (UPF) intake raises the risk of early death by 3%.
➡️ In the U.S., 124,000 preventable deaths in 2018 alone were linked to UPF consumption.
➡️ In countries where UPFs make up more than half of daily calories, up to 14% of deaths may be preventable.
UPFs are made from refined ingredients and chemical additives, with little or no whole food content. They’re engineered for convenience, not nutrition.
Examples:
• Packaged snacks and chips
• Sweetened cereals
• Sodas and energy drinks
• Fast food and instant meals
• Flavored yogurts and processed meats
It’s not just that they contain excess sugar, salt, or unhealthy fat.
UPFs also contain artificial sweeteners, preservatives, and colorings, plus emulsifiers that disrupt the gut.
They’ve also been linked to over 30 diseases, including heart disease, type 2 diabetes, obesity, depression, and some cancers.
Which means that they will likely contribute to more preventable deaths.
What you can do:
✅ Choose whole, nutrient-dense foods
✅ Cook more at home
✅ Travel with healthy, whole food snacks
✅ Read ingredient labels carefully
✅ Avoid packaged, ready-to-eat items
✅ Support public policies that protect food quality and health

Folate (natural form of vitamin B9) does a lot more than support fertility. It helps power a process called methylation, which influences everything from how your genes are expressed to how your brain makes neurotransmitters.
It also plays a big role in DNA repair and cell renewal, helping protect your body from damage and supporting healthy aging.
Folate is also key for detoxification, helping your body clear out harmful substances more efficiently. It supports the production of red and white blood cells and plays a part in keeping your heart, brain, immune system, and energy levels functioning at their best.
While it is especially important during preconception and pregnancy, folate is something we all need for optimal health.
If you’re taking a lower quality B Complex, prenatal, multivitamin supplement or you are eating fortified foods like cereals, you may be getting folic acid, the synthetic form of vitamin B9 that your body has to convert before it can use it.😬
👉Not everyone can convert it efficiently. Up to 50% of people with MTHFR gene variants may struggle to activate folic acid, leading to a build-up and potential health risks (see slides for list).
When folic acid builds up in the blood, it can mask true folate deficiencies and lead to elevated homocysteine levels, a risk factor for cardiovascular, kidney, and neurological diseases, as well as pregnancy complications and miscarriage.😳
Choosing natural folate or methylated supplements is especially important for those with MTHFR variants to support proper methylation, detoxification, and long-term health.
➡️ Swipe through for a breakdown of Folate vs. Folic Acid.
The key is to check labels carefully on supplements to ensure you are getting the right form of B9❗️

You are doing your best to eat a healthy, whole-food diet full of organic vegetables and fruits.
Yet you are suffering with symptoms like bloating, joint pain, brain fog, skin irritation, fatigue, or even kidney stones.
This may be due to how your body responds to certain naturally occurring compounds in otherwise healthy foods. Histamines or oxalates, and sometimes both.
Under healthy conditions, enzymes in the gut, liver, and kidneys help break down histamines and excrete oxalates efficiently.
But when gut health is compromised, detox pathways are overwhelmed, or nutrients like vitamin B6, magnesium, or sulfur compounds are depleted, these compounds can accumulate.
👉 Histamines may trigger immune and neurological responses, leading to inflammation, rashes, anxiety, and digestive symptoms.
👉 Oxalates can bind to minerals, irritate tissues, and contribute to joint pain, fatigue, urinary discomfort, or kidney stones.
Even nutritious foods can become problematic when the body’s ability to process them is impaired.
Histamine intolerance and oxalate sensitivity are more common than you may think.
See slides 👆 for symptoms to watch for and some of the high histamine and high oxalate foods that could be causing your health issues.
